Reviving a French classic
Tragus owned Café Rouge enjoys fond memories and goodwill from customers old enough to remember its heyday, but it was failing to attract a new generation who weren’t connecting with its positioning and traditional style. Partnering with brand strategy consultancy Clear, we developed a striking visual response to the new positioning. We created visual guidelines that recalibrated the brand for a cool mid-century left bank vibe, with new colours, photography and brand identity brief.
The interior design partner brought the new concept to life with a stylish new Café Rouge: reborn in a stunning scheme that effortlessly recaptures the best of the brand: informal all-day dining in a contemporary interpretation of the French family bistro environment.
